First steps in choosing the right therapy ... is art therapy for me?
Art therapy is a therapeutic modality for adults, children and young people. It can involve drawing, painting, making objects to express thoughts and ideas. There is no need to have any prior experience using art materials or any "skill" as an artist. All that is required is a willingness to try. Art therapy can be beneficial on many levels. For those who find it difficult to express ideas verbally it can provide an alternative way to express thoughts, feelings and emotions.
